Where Paddington came from

A little known fact is that Paddington was meant to come from Darkest Africa, until someone remembered that bears aren’t native to Africa. So he came from Darkest Peru instead. And after the tragedy of being orphaned in an earthquake, this poor little fella did well to make it all the way over to England in 1958. An adventure traveller ahead of his time.
